My first impression with Hicks Nurseries was really good. I ordered a few plants and the delivery showed up exactly when they said it would, which set the tone for the whole experience. No delays, no chasing anyone down, no hassle. The plants arrived in good shape, and the driver was friendly and actually took care with where he placed everything instead of just leaving it wherever. Overall, it was a really easy, smooth experience

They’ve got a decent selection of plants, especially if you’re looking for common garden stuff or houseplants. I did find a few really healthy ones, but for some reason a couple sections felt picked over when I went. The prices were kind of mixed too, some seemed fair, others a bit high. Overall not a bad spot, I just wish they had a little more variety and kept things better stocked on weekends.

One of the shrubs I ordered didn’t make it, but they honored the plant guarantee without any hassle, which I really appreciated. The process was easy overall, though I do wish the planting/care instructions had been a little clearer upfront. Still, it was a good experience and I’d shop here again

We went for the holiday event and it was really cute. The kids loved all the lights and the Santa setup, and the staff was super nice the whole time. Parking was easy too, which I always appreciate. I got a text when the order was ready, and someone brought everything out to my car in about 5 minutes. The plants looked healthy and in good shape too. I ended up waiting longer than I thought I would, which was a little frustrating, but the staff were genuinely nice about it. One weird thing I remember is there was a tiny rubber duck sitting by the counter, and for some reason that stuck with me.
